About Gabriel
I am a reporter and photojournalist interested in the kind of storytelling that broadens worldviews and fosters empathy. My journalism is published in The Rappahannock Record, The Eagle and Street Sense Media.
I graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Journalism and a minor in psychology from American University in Washington. I'm from Charlottesville, Virginia.
In Virginia, I photographed rural communities and reported on thriving churches for The Rappahannock Record. In Washington, I photographed political demonstrations and a presidential inauguration for The Eagle and reported on homelessness and poverty for Street Sense Media.
Additionally, I spent two summers working in Montana, where during free time I traversed remote mountain ridges photographing the last best place.
I'm a curious and adaptable storyteller driven by people and adventure. See my reporting by clicking here and my photography below.
